Our Story

From Kenyan orchards, with standards.

Avocado Kenya is a Nairobi export house built around one unit of trade — the 40-foot reefer container. We source Hass from Kenyan farms, walk the packhouse lines ourselves, and stand beside the QC tables before a single carton carries our name.

We operate on both ends of the trade: packing and shipping from Nairobi, with a partner presence in the Gulf to receive, clear and place fruit in market. One accountable counterparty, farm gate to destination port — with contracts and documents in English and Arabic.

Which avocado varieties do you export from Kenya?

Hass is our primary export variety. Fuerte is available on request. All fruit is sourced from Kenyan farms and graded at the packhouse in Nairobi.

What is the minimum order?

Our standard unit is one full 40 ft reefer container: 5,760 cartons of 4 kg, about 23 tonnes net on 20 pallets. Trial containers are welcome. Smaller urgent lots can go by air freight from Nairobi (JKIA).

Do you ship CIF or FOB?

Both. We quote CIF to your destination port or FOB Mombasa, depending on how you prefer to manage freight and insurance.

Which Gulf ports and cities do you deliver to?

We are built for the GCC: Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia; Dubai and Khor Fakkan in the UAE; plus Muscat, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain on request. Other markets are welcome.

What sizes and packing do you offer?

Standard 4 kg export cartons in counts 12 to 32, with the count mix, labels and layer pads set to your specification. Hand or automatic packing depending on the packhouse run.

How do you protect quality in transit?

Fruit is hand graded, dry-matter tested, pre-cooled in the cold store and loaded into a 40 ft reefer with a temperature data logger in every container.

Are your documents available in Arabic?

Yes. Contracts, quotations and export documents are prepared in both English and Arabic.
